6 Months!

Always wanting to do what we're doing.

Wow, once again, its been awhile! My how time is flying! Our sweet Kyndal is 6 months old now! Hard to believe. She keeps us entertained (and busy) everyday. She is sitting up on her own and trying to crawl. Before we know it she will be walking! She's already starting to get into stuff and likes playing with things she shouldn't be playing with. She loves to laugh and smile and of course has us both wrapped around her finger. Kyndal definitely rules the house, haha. That's okay though for now. Her little dimpled grin is hard not to give in to. We know everyone back home is anxious to meet her. Pretty soon everyone will be able to since in May she and I (Angela) will be coming back to the states to visit while Ken is away at training in Georgia. We plan on staying for a few months too since Ken will be gone for 6 weeks and then he will take leave later in the summer and join us in the 'Boro. If everything works out, we will all be at Kim's wedding in August! :)
As far as our life in Japan. It's been pretty uneventful lately. I keep telling Ken we should really start taking more advantage of being here and doing more things around the island. Hard to believe we've been here almost a year!! Ken has been really busy at work lately and has been working weekends so hopefully once things slow down we will be able to do more "exploring" around Okinawa. Plus we're in the rainy season here so that makes it hard to get out and do things. We thought the only thing we would have to worry about here were the typhoons but early the other morning we were woken up by an earthquake. It wasn't close enough to us to do damage but it definitely shook us up. Hopefully we won't be having anymore of those anytime soon!
Kyndal had her first trip to the ER a few weeks ago. The morning that the super bowl was on, she was playing in the floor and all of a sudden just started crying. Come to find out something had gotten into her eye and scratched it. So we took her to the ER and found out she had a corneal abrasion. Thankfully it healed fine and she doesn't have any permanent damage to her vision. But it was a little rough on us there for awhile. It was a crazy morning. It was kind of weird watching the super bowl and eating breakfast. But because of the time difference, it was on here on Monday morning instead of Sunday night.
Well, I can't really think of much else that's been going on here. Just the usual I guess. Can't wait to see everyone again this summer! Hope all is well with everyone and we miss and love you all!
Enjoy the pics and videos!! : )
